Our new pink cotton duvet sets is inspired by the stunningly beautiful Hawa Mahal palace in Jaipur. Built from pink sandstone, its exterior is decorated with exquisite filigree latticework, and it is lovingly known as the Palace of the Winds. The duvet cover is reversible, with both our bespoke design and contrast stripe hand block printed on supersoft pure Indian cotton by our amazingly talented artisans in Jaipur.
These master craftsmen have learnt their craft from their fathers and grandfathers before them, a skill that is passed down through the generations. It is the little flaws and irregularities in the print that make each piece unique, adding to the beauty of the design.
As with all Cinnamon Junction pieces, the beauty is in the detail: hidden button fastenings at the bottom of the duvet cover, a delicate geometric filigree design with a contrast stripe on the reverse, luxurious Indian cotton that will stand the test of time and last for years to come, as well as guaranteeing the best sleep in both winter and summer, packed in a matching tote bag. A lovely touch, particularly if given as a gift.
