What you need to know:
- Size: 180cm x 60cm
- Care: As natural dye is used, please wash in cold water, and dry naturally. We washed our sample scarves on a quick 20 degree wash, which was fine, or you can hand wash.
- Characteristics: All flaws in the weave and print are unique to every scarf, and add to the beauty of it
Our handwoven cream and black Ivory Palm scarves are something a little bit special!
Made by artisans in Bagru, just outside Jaipur, they are hand dyed, hand block printed, and made from handwoven pure cotton. Ethically made, they represent everything we love about sustainable slow fashion. Just in time for summer, and the perfect gift! They are big enough to be worn as a neck scarf, a shawl, or even a beach sarong.
Once the natural cotton has been hand block printed with the design, it is then dried naturally in the centre of the village, under the Rajastani sunshine. This artisan craft has been handed down through the generations, and it is a skill that we are proud to support.
